The Concept
When me and my artist started out, we were looking for inspiration. The gameplay was not the main focus, instead we want to take this chance to learn about Unreal Engine as well as Maya. We quickly decided to replicate our studio, meaning we have many real life objects to take reference from and also it would be easy for our evaluation later on as everyone was familiar with the layout.

The Process
My artist quickly churned out props after props while I familiarise myself with the blueprint system. As it turns out, we have much to learn about the importing process, creating of UVs and gameplay scripting. Tackling a new game engine was not an easy task and we still have to work on the environment lighting. Lucky for us, Unreal Engine has a very robust lighting system and in the end we managed to create very closely to what we had in mind.
